We are a movement of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) from the global south rooted in our communities who share a common goal of promoting fair, equitable and dignified partnerships in the current aid system. Our vision is to ensure genuine local participation at all levels of development and disaster management, and that effective aid is delivered to people in need.

Network against Female Genital Mutilation in Somaliland (NAFIS) is a network of civil society organizations that was established in November, 2006 and based in Hargeisa, Somaliland. Currently, NAFIS has a membership of 20 organizations operating in all the regions of Somaliland. NAFIS is the leading umbrella organization advocating on behalf of towards the eradication of FGM in Somaliland through coordination and networking, policy framework, research and documentation. NAFIS aims to provide a strategic framework, where knowledge and tools enable in-country anti-FGM campaigners and organizations to be successful and make a sustainable change to end FGM.

Somaliland Civil Society Network for Scaling-Up Nutrition  (SLCSN-SUN) is a non-governmental, non-profit making coalition, made up of organizations with a shared vision to transform Somaliland into a country where every citizen has food and is nutrition secured. We pursue this lofty goal by engaging government and non-state actors to raise awareness, sustain commitment and actions to effectively tackle under-nutrition in Somaliland. The coalition was formally launched on the 16th of January 2019.
